Change is hard in a little Southern town, particularly when it brings a side of homicide.
All Harvey Beckett needs to do is help the occupants of St. Marin's observe the ideal book for that second, cuddle with her dog canine Mayhem, and be disregarded by her feline Aslan. However, when the little, waterside town's freshest occupant finds the body of the local area's persnickety journalist in her bookshop storeroom not long before her terrific opening, Harvey can't resist the urge to attempt to settle the wrongdoing, in any event, when it may cost her business and her life. The more inquiries Harvey pose, the more mysteries she uncovers.
Can Harvey and her companions settle the homicide of the town columnist without her turning into a casualty herself?
